Moisture is the Key
"Whether it's hair or skin, moisture is the key to keeping it soft, subtle, shinny and beautiful. Hair grease does not impart moisture. For this you need a moisturizer. The best one that I have found for the hair is Humectress by Nexxus. There are several good ones for the skin."

Dark Skin
Use an oil free make up. Apply foundation using your fingers or sponge. Use a powder that will match your skin to set the foundation. Then a stroke of brownish red blush will look great on you. Finish it with a coffee or copper colored lip gloss on lips.

Hair Color and Peroxide
For depositing black, use 10 volume peroxide or less. You want to deposit the color, not lift. For browns, use 20 volume. Use 30 volume for your reds and watch the color come alive. For blonds, use 40 volume and cut your process time to avoid drying the hair. Also, add liquid vitamins and proteins to your solution to give the hair life.

Eye Lashes
Draw some attention to your eyes with a mascara product that lengthens and thickens your eyelashes. Choose waterproof mascara for a day at the pool, the beach or during dreary weather. Also, you can elongate your eyelashes by applying mascara at first in a vertical brushing motion. This will coat the tips of your lashes, giving them a lengthened appearence.
